Last night, I was awakened by a fierce thunderstorm. Oliver was trembling, and honestly, it was so loud that it made me a little uneasy. However, there was also something calming about the sound of rain pouring and hitting the roof. I found it strange to have a thunderstorm in November, but then again, it was sunny and in the 70s over the weekend. Naturally, as a problematic sleeper, my mind began racing with thoughts of everything I need to accomplish: orders, bills, payroll

He's not much different than his owner. Little, feisty, a bit persnickety, calm most of the time, loving but not on command; definitely on his terms, guarded with his acceptance of who he lets in, protective of his people and funny. Our walks together are always special and just us - exploring, Oliver sniffing, me noticing everything.
