Witchy you a Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween, Blue Eden family!
As we type this on the very last day of October, we can’t help but ask ourselves: where on earth has the time gone? It feels like it was just January 2026, and we were all bundled up surviving that winter from hell with temperatures dipping down into the freezing single digits.
But looking back, something incredibly beautiful came out of that bitter cold. Right in the middle of those freezing months, a sweet little stray cat started picking food out of my trash. My heart completely bled for her skinny, bony little body. So, defying all expectations—and completely overriding Oliver’s usual bad behavior toward anyone who gets remotely close to me—I decided to take her in. She was so remarkably friendly and gentle, not at all like a typical feral cat, which makes me think someone simply opened their door and let her out. While I will never truly understand how anyone could do that, she instantly became part of our little animal family.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, Miss Willow was actually pregnant! Soon after, she gave birth to five absolutely gorgeous kittens. We all became attached so fast that I honestly can’t remember what life was even like before the kitten chaos. They are all so deeply loved and, promise made, they will never go hungry again. As for Oliver? My feisty Jack Russell has surprisingly stepped up to become everyone's grandpa, and he takes his self-appointed responsibility very seriously. Being a natural herder, he thankfully herds the entire bunch safely away from the door, and he is so genuinely happy and playful with his new makeshift family. Honestly, I think Miss Willow rescued all of us.
This simple act of kindness is exactly what our mission has been all about since we first opened our store doors back in 1996. Today, our sister store, Oliver and Twist, keeps that spirit alive by donating a portion of its sales to animal shelters both locally and globally.
Aside from welcoming Miss Willow’s unexpected crew, 2026 has been a massive year of growth for us. We created brand-new scent collections, completely redesigned our website, streamlined our perfumier, and hosted incredible candle-making workshops. We have poured our hearts into creating a beautiful experience for you, and it is my absolute hope that you’ll always remember us as a fun, cozy destination whenever you are spending time in Stone Harbor.
So, what’s next for the last two months of the year? We are heading into the holiday season full steam ahead! We have an incredibly exciting Thanksgiving weekend planned to help you jump into the holiday spirit:
Black Friday: Spend $100 or more and take home one of our special, hand-painted canvas bags! These are highly limited and they absolutely fly off the shelves, so make sure to come early. To keep your shopping energy high, we will be serving up delicious food, wine, and hoagies from Nemo's, along with lots of freshly baked goodies all day long.
Small Business Saturday: We are keeping the festive energy flowing with complimentary Mimosas in the morning from 11:00 AM to noon, as well as during our three special Holiday Candle Making Workshops! A portion of every workshop registration goes straight to supporting Animal Outreach of Cape May County. ✨ JUST BE SIDENOTE: Something Special is Coming!
In the middle of all the creation and production that happens on a daily basis here at the store, I took some time out to do something that I have always dreamed of doing and made a magazine! The very first publication, Just BE, will be out the week of December 7. It is a cozy, easy read filled with fun ideas on home styling, decluttering, organizing, and it even features a few of our favorite DIY recipes. We can't wait for you to flip through the pages!
(the photo below is the front cover!) The print edition will be available in store and online.
With love & light always,
