As the sun begins to peek over the horizon, the world is still wrapped in a gentle embrace of silence. It’s 6 AM, and while most are nestled in their beds, I find myself wandering through the gardens, savoring this tranquil moment. The early morning light casts a soft glow, illuminating the vibrant greens of the plants I lovingly tended to just three weeks ago.

Accompanying me on this serene stroll are two beloved companions: Oliver, my loyal dog, and Willow, (a new addition to my pet family) my adventurous cat. Oliver dutifully matches my pace, his tail wagging enthusiastically, while Willow, ever the trailblazer, darts ahead with the grace of a seasoned explorer. She has a knack for scouting out the best spots in the garden, always ten steps ahead as she navigates through the blooms.
As I check on the seedlings that have recently emerged from the soil, a wave of satisfaction washes over me. The tiny green shoots stand tall, a testament to the nurturing I’ve provided. Alongside them, Willow’s kittens have also made their grand entrance into the world. Their eyes have opened, revealing curious little glimmers, and their ears have unfolded, eager to absorb the sounds around them. It’s a delightful reminder of the joys of life unfurling, both in the garden and at home.
This hour of quietude is truly unmatched. The air is crisp and cool, filled with the faintest whispers of nature waking up. The stillness wraps around me, creating a cocoon of calm that’s hard to find after 8 AM when the world begins to stir. It’s a precious time for reflection, a moment to breathe deeply and appreciate the beauty of my surroundings. It's the small things that I am grateful for, it's a moment.
After spending some time in the garden, I prepare for the next part of my morning ritual. I’ll soon put Oliver’s harness on, and together we’ll embark on a long, rejuvenating walk along the bayside. This routine, of starting and ending our day with a walk, has become an essential part of our lives. The rhythmic sound of our footsteps on the path, the gentle lapping of waves against the shore, and the distant call of seabirds create a symphony of peace that resonates deep within me.
And here is to a beautiful day ahead. As I wrap up my quiet morning, I can’t help but feel grateful for this time. It’s a reminder to embrace the little moments, to find joy in the simplest of pleasures, and to cherish the company of loved ones—both human and animal.

Here’s to a perfect day ahead. What's on your "to do" list? My wish for you - May it be filled with peace, productivity, and the simple joys that come from the sounds of silence. Oh it's going to be a good one! Happy Monday!
Always wishing you the best
