Let's face it, in today's world it's not easy to live a poetic life. It is the simple things that we encounter along the way that can create a kind of romance.
What sets any of us apart is what is woven into our soul with grace and intention. Like a strand of freshwater pearls or wildflowers pressed between the pages of a book, every one is different. This is what inspires artists to paint, storytellers to write and poets to put words to the imagery of love, romance and just being.
I am mesmerized at the idea of a poetic life—a life of romance that inspired me to create these shops - Blue Eden, Sea Foam Soap Company, Just BE Candle Co and now Oliver & Twist. Handmade and handcrafted with love and attention to detail is what sets my businesses apart from the others. After all, the curating and handmaking bath and body treasures, hand pouring soy candles late into the evening and collecting treasures on a welcome day off is the reason we invite you into the shops. All for the love of well, love. We hope you enjoy shopping these treasures as much as we enjoy bringing them to you. Let's celebrate February together, via in person or at our online shop. In the meantime, lets put into the back of our mind that in just a few short months the sun will be shining brightly, the town will be loaded up with visitors and finally we will see the light we prepare for all winter long.
